FLOWERS
Where do your flowers come from?
From more places than we have been! Within the region we have flowers from Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Japan, and from farther out – New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Columbia, Holland, USA etc.
How do you choose your flowers?
We work with reliable, perennial favourites, as well as interesting seasonal flowers, guided by the colour preference and bouquet you select.
Can you create exactly the same bouquet as this picture reference?
We hesitate doing exact bouquet reproductions to allow for creative freedom, and to expose ourselves to working with new flower varieties.
Should you have a such a request – we try our best to replicate the style and colour, but it won’t be exactly the same due to seasonal differences. Even the same flower in the same colour will have peculiarities in shade and tone. Such is the virtue of nature! Email us at everyday@floralmagic.com.sg with a picture reference, if this is something you’d like to ask about.
Do you do custom arrangements?
Yes we do. Custom wrapped bouquets or vase arrangements are from $200 depending on flower preference and selection. Email your picture reference and/or your brief to everyday@floralmagic.com.sg with at least a week’s notice.
How do you wrap your bouquets?
We finish our bouquets simply with brown kraft paper or beige fibre paper – neutral and minimal so that our flowers take centrestage.
Can I order one of your wrapped bouquets as my bridal bouquet?
No – the two are completely different.
Bridal bouquets usually have a wider variety of flowers, if not more stems. Each stem used is significant in placement that makes it beautiful from all angles. The bridal bouquet is also arranged and cut to look proportionate to you in photos, and to make it easy to hold.
For a bridal bouquet on a budget, check out our Bridal-to-go range that starts from $165.
Otherwise, see our custom bridal bouquets here. Prices start from $280. Before we arrive at your final bouquet recipe, we go through ideas with you, fine tune them and come up with visual references to guide our work. Some materials are specially ordered and conditioned to create your desired look and feel. On the whole, our custom bridal bouquets require more time, round-the-island legwork, meticulous handiwork, for procuring, conditioning, pruning, priming, arranging, wiring to form the shape and accent the final piece.
Do your flowers come in vases?
The default presentation of most of our products is as a wrapped bouquet, but you can add a vase for $20, or make it a planter arrangement at an additional $35.
How do I care for the flowers?
For wrapped bouquets, remove from packaging and place in a vase of clean water.
For planter arrangements, add water within the liner daily.
For vase arrangements, rinse stems and vase thoroughly as stems may cloud the water quickly.
Display in a cool area away from direct sunlight and draft. Remove fading blooms and yellowing leaves. Give an angled trim at the stems, and fresh water in the vase, every day.
With daily care, the flowers have a vase life of 3-5 days.
I just received my flowers and they are wilting / broken. What should I do?
Your flowers should arrive fresh, but may be slightly dehydrated due to transportation. This is a quick fix – simply give it a fresh cut and clean water in a clean vase, and a spritz of water on the blooms.
However, if in the unlikely situation that your flowers arrive damaged or in a poor condition, please call us at 6337 6398 or email everyday@floralmagic.com.sg immediately! We will request photos of the flowers that illustrate the problem, and do our best to find a quick, fair and reasonable solution for you.
There's a length of wire or wooden stick taped to a stem. What is that?
Flowers with soft stems may be prone to breakage. To ensure that it is well-supported within the bouquet, we add what we call a “false stem” so that it is easier for you to handle.
How long will the flowers last?
Flowers typically last 3-5 days in our local heat and humidity, with daily care.
To prolong the life of your arrangement, display in a cool area away from direct sunlight and draft. Remove fading blooms and yellowing leaves. Give an angled trim at the stems, and fresh water in the vase, every day.
